NICA live: Tamara Lukasheva Solo & Jens Düppe Trio mit Julius Richter
*Tamara Lukasheva presents her new album "Gleichung":*
On her new album, the multi-award-winning singer and pianist Tamara Lukasheva takes on the poetry of important poets. Using only piano and voice, the Ukrainian-born singer interprets poems by Novalis, Rilke, Hildegard von Bingen, Brentano, Fontane, Clara Müller-Jahnke and others musically. This is her first solo album, and it is enormously exciting to see how the Cologne-born singer sets German poetry in scene and what kind of vocal repertoire she has at her disposal. The poetry of moonlight magic in a dark night, circling around an ancient tower and the universe overflowing with love, she underpins with dark piano textures and gently swinging vocals, intimate and close.''

*Jens Düppe Trio & Julius Richter*
The musically very open DJ and sound researcher Julius Richter - known among others from the band Aroma Pitch - is looking for the shoulder-to-shoulder connection between acoustic and electronic sound worlds together with the no less curious drummer and WDR Jazz Prize winner for improvisation Jens Düppe. The two already got to know each other in Düppe's improvisation series Blind Date in 2019. Together with Düppe's Trio, the four musicians present the very first results of this mutual interest in this concert.
