Born and raised in Cologne, he and his guitar stand for everything that makes German-language music so important: stories to tell. Of growing up somewhere between the decay of reconstruction, the endless summers with nights longer than days and the great love that is so close but remains forever out of reach.
After Alles im Arsch, Paul Weber's new EP Von all dem nichts gewusst represents a further development that not only takes up and develops the narrative of "Coming Of Afe" in terms of content, but is much more of a musical revelation to great bands such as "The War On Drugs" or "Bruce Springsteen". Produced by Dennis Borger (Betterov, Razz, Fibel), the record, recorded in Belgium, lifts its track to the small-big snapshots of everyday life. For the dream of driving into the crash barrier at 110km/h. For reaching for the hand of the person you love. For the moment when everything is okay.
