The 21-year-old Lola Young is independent and has a real artistic vision. She has the potential, spirit and individuality to become Britain's next great talent.

Raised in South London and with an innate sense of direction and personal drive, Lola immersed herself in music. "It's been a part of my life since I had my first memories," she says, "and I've been singing since I could talk. Not that I was a good singer back then. I really had to learn, practice, take lessons and teach myself. It was hard work when I was learning to sing. People might say, 'It sounds like you were born with that voice.' That was not the case at all."

With her extraordinary talent and undeniable creative focus, she is a musical force.
