AUSVERKAUFT: Jazz at GREEN ROOM: Marcus Bartelt Quartett

Marcus Bartelt has been present on both the tenor and baritone instrument for many years on the Cologne jazz scene and far beyond. His quartet primarily plays compositions of the bandleader, supplemented by standards and jazz classics in fresh and unusual arrangements. Modern Jazz with deep roots in the tradition of Swing and Bop and a keen awareness of today.
Of course, the band's fellow musicians are no strangers to local jazz fans either. Behr, Düppe and Bartelt, for example, can regularly be heard in the Stadtgarten concert hall with the Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra.
