VVINDKIND was born. A constant was only movement', says Verena aka VVINDKIND about the development phase of her first German-language solo album. It began with an infinite number of lines. They were for me like an encouragement, support and invitation, my own inner therapy session, put into words and translated into melodies. New Cosmos' has therefore also become a blunt reflection of the artist's soul life. In it, separation, pain, despair, but also courage, drive, love and the will to surrender to change circle. My previous life was shaken to its foundations during this time, everything had to be rearranged. These songs describe the way there.' The sound of the artist is as pure and honest as her texts. Back to the basis of honest, great pop music, but always with the urge to give her something special, a little bit 'different': Somewhere a sound you can't identify, something that disturbs for a moment and then becomes one with the song. Instruments hears that we create something together as musicians. In a studio surrounded by green meadows and wide fields this dream became reality. In one week, with days and nights, 'New Cosmos' was mostly recorded at the same time, to capture the mood together.
