As part of the European Big Band Network Series, the Cologne
Contemporary Jazz Orchestra with the Danish saxophonist Lars Møller. For the 4th time, the big band and world music expert with his very own exciting combination of contemporary big band jazz, Nordic vocal tradition and Indian folklore will stand before the CCJO.

Lars Møller is one of Scandinavia's leading jazz musicians, has played with Hermeto Pascoal, Maria Schneider, Tom Harrell, Toots Thielemans and many others and recorded 9 albums under his own name with Jimmy Cobb, Geri Allen, Billy Hart, NHOP and John Abercrombie, among others. As an arranger and composer, he has worked with the Danish Radio Big Band, the NDR Big Band, the EBU Big Band, the Slovenian Big Band and the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra, whose musical director he was for many years, and whose album "ReWrite of Spring" feat. Marilyn Mazur was honoured with several international awards. Meanwhile, he has devoted himself mainly to his Global Jazz Explorer Institute, where he is involved in various projects devoted to the research and exchange of multicultural art forms from all over the world.
