Cologne Music Week: Bergfilm

Since 2013 Bergfilm from Cologne have been playing their own version of electro-pop - and with their debut album Constants (Haldern Pop Recordings) you give us an insight into your music. The band deliberately does without samples and loops and creates melancholic songs with dynamic drums, creaking basses, 80's inspired synth surfaces, staccato guitar melodies and a catchy voice dancing above all. Together with producer Elias Foerster (Still Parade, Sea Moya) they recorded a very personal album about happy first encounters, gruelling conflicts and painful relationship ends on old tape machines, creating an organic, varied atmosphere that shines in dark colours.
