Cologne Music Week: Florence Arman // Kid Simius & Bonaparte

Florence Arman
The Vienna-based Brit has already helped many big names in the music business to create new songs - now she is stepping into the limelight for the first time as a solo artist with her grandiose and emotional indie pop. Her debut single "Naked" and her debut EP "Out Of The Blue" have been received enthusiastically by almost all important international music platforms - and certainly by the Cologne Music Week audience.

Kid Simius & Bonaparte
Kid Simius & Bonaparte team up to create music that is dedicated to the Balearic Sound of Ibiza of the late 80's and early 90's. Which marks the dawn of club music and culture as we know it today and is considered the Golden Age of the white island. The first single "Astrid & Manolo", released via Permanent Vacation on March 25th 2022 is the perfect example for this sound, with rich nature sounds, pianos and dreamy pads it beams you right back. Remixes are coming from two experts in this fields: Permanent Vacation affiliated Paula Tape and Massimiliano Pagliara, who keep the vibe alive, but bring the track further onto the dancefloor.
Later in the summer of 2022 a whole new EP will follow. Packed with mesmerizing original tracks as well as remixes. Kid Simius & Bonaparte will also embark on a few festival shows in the summer of 2022 and prepare their sets for some more extensive touring in 2023.
