DJ Shadow

DJ. Producer. Record collector. Pioneer: Josh Davis aka DJ Shadow has been creating and releasing music for over 25 years. The Bay Area producer became known worldwide thanks to his groundbreaking 1996 debut, "Endtroducing," a landmark album that for the first time consisted entirely of samples. Since then, he has refused to follow a rigid formula for success, constantly exploring new avenues. Ways that led to collaborations with artists like Massive Attack and Jason Newsted of Metallica.

In 2016 DJ Shadow released his latest album "Our Pathetic Age", the result of a creative period in which Josh Davis experimented intensively, immersed in complex compositions and garnished them with vocal features from artists such as Run The Jewels, Nas, Sam Herring, Paul Banks and Wiki, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, Pharaohe Monch.

DJ Shadow's live performances are legendary, a total audio-visual concept in which he deconstructs and reconstructs his tracks live on turntables, samplers and effects units and frames the whole thing spectacularly with opulent visuals. He is and remains "the DJ's DJ".

Now he returns to Germany for two dates as part of his "30 Years Of Beats" tour.
