Emma Rawicz CHROMA
Jamie Cullum calls the British saxophonist Emma Rawicz "an impressive talent", Jazzwise Magazine "a force to be reckoned with" and the BBC states: "The name Emma Rawicz is on everyone's lips right now". The 21-year-old is the latest discovery on London's vibrant jazz scene, which has been causing a stir worldwide for years. And despite her young age, she has already achieved an enormous amount: winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Award, finalist at the Jazz FM Awards and the BBC Young Jazz Musician Competition, concerts at and in all renowned British festivals and clubs, as well as in France, Israel and Turkey. Multiple headliner at London institutions such as the Jazz Café and Ronnie Scott's. Their label debut "Chroma" was released in the fall of 2023 - with a prominent quintet, including pianist Ivo Neame and drummer Asaf Sirkis, as well as bassist Kevin Glasgow - all of whom are established names on the UK scene.
