As part of the European Big Band Network Series, the Cologne Contemporary Jazz Orchestra invites the director and founder of the Lucerne Jazz Orchestra, David Grottschreiber, to the beginning of the new year. The festival presents original compositions by the award-winning Swiss arranger as well as the suite "Cinema Paradiso" based on Ennio Morricone's music for the film of the same name and orchestrally arranged for big band. Special Guest will be the singer Filippa Gojo, who comes from the Austrian Vorarlberg, but who is not unknown to the local audience due to her numerous projects in her adopted home Cologne.
