The name says it all! Between funk and fusion, the musicians around the versatile exceptional pianist and organist Martin Sasse and the Cologne guitarist Bruno Müller (Till Brönner, Mezzoforte, Max Mutzke) conjure up a "gritty groove" on stage that "pushes boldly forward," as the Kölnische Rundschau writes. Sasse and Müller have known each other for decades, which explains their relaxed familiarity that makes this music take off. To this end, Claus Fischer, longtime bassist with Stefan Raab's Heavytones, and Hendrik Smock, who plays drums for Roachford, lay the foundation. The Rundschau's verdict: "infinitely precise".
