Daniel Tamayo Ensemble offers a texture-rich music that explores free improvisation and jazz tradition in conjunction with electroacoustic soundscapes.

This time the band plays with Jonas Engel, improviser and composer active in the young European creative music scene. He is constantly researching any kind of technique and instrument extensions to create sound and silence. And the 21-year-old Carlotta Ribbe, who studies vibraphone at the Folkwang University.

In recent years, the band has been active at festivals such as the Avignon Jazz Festival, Winter Jazz Festival, Krokus Jazz Festival and others, and has played locally at venues such as Stadtgarten, Loft and Jazzschmiede. In 2021 the band released their debut album "Unjustified Paranoia" on the Unit Records label.
