The alto saxophonist Fabian Dudek is currently studying for his master's degree at the Cologne University of Music. With his quartet around Felix Hauptmann, David Helm and Fabian Arends, he released his debut album "Creating Meaning" in December last year. Dudek was a member of the Bundesjazzorchester from 2016 to 2018. Among other things, he received the Frankfurt Jazz Scholarship, the Soloist Prize of the Osnabrück Jazz Competition, the main prize at the Tremplin d'Avignon ... and has been a scholarship holder of the German National Academic Foundation since the beginning of 2018.
Dudek, Hauptmann, Below and Parzhuber are close friends who met in the Cologne music scene. Now they meet for the first time in exactly this constellation to present exclusively their own pieces. The main characteristic here is emotionality, impressions of everyday life, gratitude and exchange with the world.
