On this evening, "Jazz at JAKI" curator and saxophonist Denis Gäbel invites some of his favourite musicians* to a joint concert in the Greenroom. The American pianist Billy Test has recently enriched both the WDR Big Band and the German jazz scene. As a double bass player and bandleader, Robert Landfermann has become an integral part of the European jazz scene. The drummer Mareike Wiening, freshly moved from New York to Cologne, will shape the sound of the band with her powerful playing.
