Mike Churilov Organ Trio feat. Bob Moses

Siberian guitarist Mikhail Churilov has been living in Essen since 2015, where he is currently in the process of graduating from the esteemed Folkwang University of the Arts. Alongside his studies he has been working on bringing multiple exciting musical projects to life.
The Mike Churilov Organ Trio unites four musicians of diverse cultural and generational backgrounds in an effort to present a musical experience that is modern, yet deeply rooted in the traditions of jazz. Prepared under the mentorship of legendary jazz drummer/composer Ra Kalam Bob Moses (Keith Jarrett, Pat Metheny, Jaco Pastorius), the music will consist of sophisticated sounds and textures as well as famous jazz songs that the band will be interpreting in their own unique way.

This is something to be experienced live — colourful harmonies, melodicism and a beat all contained in one space!
