Moritz Simon Geist's constructions are as original as they are visionary.
The filigree sound sculptures, produced with 3D printers, soldering irons and laser cutters, combine futuristic techno sounds with nostalgic associations with clockwork-driven music automatons from pre-industrial times.
"Tripods One" is exemplary for the apparatuses of Geist's Klangkunstmanufaktur. The three-legged multi-instrument set creates an organic unity of electronics and robotics, kinetics and acoustics, man and machine. A good piece of music for the future.
