NICA live im GREEN ROOM und im Stream: Zuzana Leharová/Annette Maye & Shannon Barnett/David Helm

Since January, the four NICA Artists Elisabeth Coudoux, Pablo Giw, Pablo Held and Tamara Lukasheva have regularly presented musical ideas, visions, cooperations or discoveries under their names in the monthly concert series "NICA presents". We are very happy to continue the series as "NICA live" in the new open-air concert space GREEN ROOM in the back part of the outdoor restaurant of the Stadtgarten (the former "Al Bosco").
Under the title "NICA streams ..." a part of the concert evening will be shown together with interviews of the artists* from 20:15 hrs. The new format sees itself as "ArtSalon" in the 21st century.

Stretnutie - Encounter
The event of an exciting reunion of the two musicians from the Cologne jazz scene, who in a new, complementary duo formation, violin and clarinet, explored the identity of their instruments and their progressive sounds.
Their experimental improvisations are permeable to echoes and rhythms from folklore and non-European music.

Shannon Barnett/David Helmet
Shannon Barnett and David Helm attract attention primarily in their role as instrumentalists in the world of jazz and improvised music.
In this new project, they work together to pave their own way to a world for which they feel an equally great love: songs.
