Pablo Held Trio feat. Nelson Veras & EOS Kammerorchester 'Adventures'

On his 15th album 'Adventures', Pablo Held embarks on a journey deep into the parallel universe between improvisation and composition. He is accompanied by his long-time trio, Brazilian guitarist Nelson Veras and the EOS Chamber Orchestra conducted by Susanne Blumenthal. Held's compositions, arranged by his longtime friend and colleague Niels Klein, shine in a new light and take the listener on a journey of discovery into the unknown.

The eos Chamber Orchestra was founded in 2008 by conductor Susanne Blumenthal and trumpeter Susanne Knoop. The focus of the eos Chamber Orchestra is on collaboration with musicians outside the traditional genre of "classical music". Always on the lookout for musical experiments, the orchestra crosses all too narrow genre boundaries and creates new sound worlds beyond conventional musical labels. A central aspect is the combination of notated and improvised music.
