"Drama", his long-awaited second solo album after "Cavalo" (from 2013), will be released in July 2021. One has already met Amarante
encountered, be it on "Tuyo," Amarante's theme tune to the Netflix drama Narcos, or on his band Little Joy's album (featuring Fabrizio Moretti of the Strokes and Binki Shapiro). You might have also spotted him in the credits of songs by Gal Costa, Norah Jones and Gilberto Gil; or playing live with his Brazilian samba big band Orquestra Imperial or Rio rockers Los Hermanos. Now you might think you already know Rodrigo Amarante, but "Drama," his second solo album, will introduce a whole new level of weirdness into the mix.
