Summer Jazz: Bobby Previte´s Classic Bump Band

After the extremely successful premiere of the Summer Jazz Festival last year, we will again be presenting selected concerts on three summer evenings in July 2019. From 18th to 20th July 2019 the bands of Dave Douglas, Bobby Previte, as well as Bunky Swirl and Gille & Landfermann will play with us as a duo and together as a quartet.

In 1999, Bobby Previte formed a powerhouse band with unique trombonist Ray Anderson, alto saxist Marty Ehlich, super composer and legendary pianist Wayne Horvitz and legendary bassist Steve Swallow.
The band, simply called "BUMP", toured Europe, the USA and South America for 5 years and played at festivals from Saalfelden to the North Sea, from Rio to Malta.

In July 2019, about 20 years later, they will come together for another European tour, during which they will once again pack all the emotions you have collected in recent years into their music.

Bobby's last record "Rhapsody" was selected as record of the year 2018 on "Bird Is The Worm".
