Tamara Lukasheva presents Lukoshko
Lukoshko means basket. You walk somewhere in the forest and collect everything you can find in it. At home you make soup out of it. Because the bandleader comes from the Ukraine, it becomes a borsch in this case. Exactly in this way the band collected jazz, rock, alternative, pop and free improv, diced it, put it all in one pot and let it simmer. The result is not only good for the soul, but also for the body. And please don't forget - real borsch tastes best after two days.
With NICA artist development, a pilot project for the promotion of jazz musicians at the European Centre for Jazz and Contemporary Music has been launched in autumn 2019. Starting in January, the four Artists in Residence Elisabeth Coudoux, Pablo Giw, Pablo Held and Tamara Lukasheva will regularly present their musical ideas, visions, cooperations or discoveries under their names in the monthly concert series "NICA presents" in the in-house club JAKI.
