CANCELLED: Der Literarische Salon mit Eduardo Halfon
Due to the existing travel restrictions and the ban on events, the literary salon with Eduardo Halfon unfortunately has to be cancelled. Tickets that have already been purchased will be refunded to the purchaser.
Born the son of Holocaust survivors in Guetamala in 1971, Eduardo Halfon writes in all his books about the past, which will never be overcome in Germany either. It is often thought that every chapter of a novel is a short story in its own right, and at the same time every book is a chapter in a single great novel of life that oscillates between historical horror and fantastic poetry. The Neue Zürcher Zeitung described Halfons work as "witty and truthful, cheeky and clever, erotic and melancholic", which contained everything "that makes literature exciting". His most recent novel "Das Duell" has now been published in German and is being celebrated by international critics. And after reading it, we look forward all the more to the most exciting voice in contemporary Latin American literature today.
