Cologne Music Week: Dilla & Zimmer90

Dilla
Amadea, aka Dilla, started singing when she was just 3 years old and never stopped - luckily! Even in her school days, no stage was too small for her to captivate the audience. Amadea grew up bilingual and knows the English language as well as several instruments and especially her voice.

So the young artist, now living in Berlin, not only convinces with her English and also German lyrics, but also decorates her music with a never before heard sound picture, which invites you to dance and above all also addresses topics with which you can identify as a Gen Z. It is a total package, because in addition to the lyrics and vocals, Dilla produces their songs themselves and
thus belongs to one of the few German producers. A thick kick and a pushing bass are her specialty. Dilla can serve many genres, so she combines pop, hip hop, funk and techno elements and gives the German "New Wave" a new face.

Her credo - Don't take life too seriously, give everything for your people, give everything for your passion, then everything sounds better!

Room90
Synth, bass and catchy drums. Atmospheric, soft and honest - that's the distinctive sound of Zimmer90. The electro-indiepop band from Stuttgart consists of the three guys Joscha, Finn and Michi and is one of the most up-and-coming newcomer bands in the indie cosmos.

Anyone who has spent more time with the band in the past knows that Zimmer90 cannot be pigeonholed. In contrast to the rest of the music industry, which mostly works with pigeonholes, they directly open a whole room with their music, which listeners can freely arrange and design. They want to counteract the thinking that music only works,
by imposing certain contents (values, role models, stereotypes) on the consumers. Value-free and openly formulated lyrics leave room to find oneself in the music and to have an individual experience in the room90.

"We do not want to impose our life stories on anyone but invite into the Zimmer90, where a free space exists for all."
