The Jasper Blom Quartet brings together four great musicians of the Dutch jazz scene. Band leader Blom, who has taught at the Conservatory of Amsterdam for many years, was awarded the Buma Boy Edgar Prize in 2019. His intelligent compositions reflect a wide range of stylistic influences. They are brilliantly shaped by the playing of world-famous guitarist Jesse van Ruller, exciting drummer Martijn Vink and Frans van der Hoeven on double bass. For their current project Polyphony Part Three Blom has invited the Cologne pianist Pablo Held.
